AVAILABLE COURSES

ARDGLASS

Ardglass is one of the most breath-taking courses on the Irish coast. It really does have it all, from dramatic views of the Irish Sea from every hole as they weave along cliffs and rugged headland making the course not only beautiful but delightfully challenging as the elevation rises and falls. The opening five holes are particularly wonderful as they take you right along the edge of the cliffs tops. The 167-yard par three 2nd called “Howd’s Hole”, Ardglass’s signature hole is truly memorable as the tee shot is played across a rocky estuary to a seemingly tiny, distant green.

CAIRNDHU

Cairndhu is a spectacular, sloping, seaside course nestled on cliffs which offer positively stunning views of the Antrim coast with Drains Bay to the southeast and Ballygally Bay stretching off to the other side of the course. The 159-yard par three 2nd called “Head” truly lives up to its namesake as it brings you right up to the closest point of the course to the headland. The tee perches one hundred yards above the Antrim coast road which snakes with the craggy shoreline below.

CASTLEROCK

Castlerock is one of the most tenacious courses in Ireland, with some truly extraordinary holes. If you’re playing close to your handicap you are having a great round. The course rests where the River Bann collides with the at times ferocious Atlantic Ocean giving golfers spectacular, forever changing views. The 200-yard par three 4th hole “Leg O’ Mutton” is the course’s signature hole. The hole is challenging with the railway line on the right hand side running the full length of the hole and a burn running diagonally from right to left adding to the challenge the tee shot is played up to a raised green.

ROYAL BELFAST

Royal Belfast is the oldest Golf Club in Ireland and as such, deeply steeped in heritage and tradition which is proudly on display within their new refurbished 19th century manor home Clubhouse from memorabilia to many of the rooms bearing the names of original members of the private members club. The 150 acre course was designed by H.S Colt one of the leading golf architects of his time. The shoreline hugging course uses gentle elevation changes and intelligent bunkering to make it an absolute delight to play. The course is particularly beautiful with the conscientious design of the parkland containing stands of trees and lush fairways and making the most of the idyllic view across the water to the Antrim Hills.
